The Hong Kong Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (HKASLD) warmly invites physicians, researchers, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, and allied health professionals to submit abstracts for the 39th Annual Scientific Meeting and International Symposium on Hepatology 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your latest research, clinical experience, and innovative approaches in hepatology. Whether focused on viral hepatitis, MASLD, liver cancer, transplantation, or liver-related multidisciplinary care, your work can contribute to advancing knowledge, practice, and collaboration across the region. Join us in shaping the future of liver health!

Poster Presentation Details

​All accepted posters should be displayed on the designated poster boards throughout the conference venue.  Dedicated poster sessions will provide an engaging platform for presenters to discuss their work and interact with attendees, including international faculty and expert adjudicators. Abstract submissions will be reviewed by a scientific panel, and acceptance notifications will be sent by 30th October 2026 (Friday).

​​​Registration and Presentation Requirements

Only presenting authors are eligible to submit an abstract, and all abstract submitters must be registered for the conference prior to presenting their posters. Accepted poster presenters will receive complimentary access to the conference.

Awards

A. Anna Lok Award for Research Excellence – Gold Prize: HKD8,000 and a certificate

B. Anna Lok Award for Research Excellence – Silver Prize: HKD6,000 and a certificate

C. Anna Lok Award for Research Excellence – Bronze Prize: HKD4,000 and a certificate

D. Poster of Distinction (ranks 4th onwards): A certificate
